I had a dream few days ago that I had a miscarriage. Then I started to get these really uncomfortable aches in my groins and every now and again in my abdomen on Tuesday. Yesterday it seemed that every time I suddenly moved, I had sharp pains. COMPLETE PANIC!!! I phoned my midwife yesterday and she was trying to assure me that it's probably just pains from uterus growing. Not good enough. So, I insisted (and yes, told a little white lie) to have another scan this morning. EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY FINE! Thank god.
Baby is actually measuring 11 weeks and 5 days (the baby wasn't fully stretched in this scan photo I got to take with me). The baby was moving loads and did little jumps every now and again. As you can imagine, I'm over the moon (as is my husband).
So, it seems we are approaching the "safe zone" fast. Looks like, I have to get used to the idea that we actually are having a baby in October. Sweet, sweet, sweet!

I'm so happy for you! I can also relate to your feelings to a certain extend (even though I didn't have to go through all that you have) because I also miscarried and only after that got my two healthy kids. I remember being scared and kept watch on all possible symptoms of another miscarriage when I was expecting my son.
Now just try to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy! It's amazing when you feel the child move. :)

Micci: Miscarriage is so hard to go through and I'm going complete nuts with this pregnancy being so anxious. Hope that next month will fly by so I can start to feel the little bean moving.

Mä myös säihkähdän ihan kaikkea, mulla jo supistelee ja Sonjalta ei todellakaan näin aikaisin. Toisen kohalta sanotaan, että liikkeet tuntisi aikaisemmin...noh, Sonjalta tunsin jo aikaisemmin ja tältä en vielä kunnolla (vaikka pitäisi jo tuntea). Lääkäri lohdutteli, että mulla on istukka niin hankalasti edessä et se vaimentaa liikkeitä. Neuvola oli tänään ja sykkeet 148.=)
Ultra kuva saa ihan sanottomaksi! Jotakin niin kaunista sieltä on tulossa! Onnittelut myös tulevalle isille! Ootte ajatuksissain.
Malipu: Onnitellaan isaaki. Mulla on kuulemma istukka just hyvin takana, etta pitas tuntee vauvan liikkeet (sitte ku se aika koottaa). Mulla ei supistele, mutta vetaa lihasta ja jannetta niin kipiasti, etta irvistella melkeen pitaa!
